In rare instances, two companies may be on the same Strategic Voice Solutions SIP server and may do business together. Furthermore, they have SIP trunks with local phone systems.

Depending on how the Phone System or Gateway that attaches to the Strategic Voice Solutions SIP trunks may be routing calls based on the DID in the TO HEADER. If the TO HEADER is set for 11 digits and the number dialed was 10 digit dialing, it will not match in the phone system or gateway with a 480 response.

To address this rare issue, please make sure to program your phone system or the gateway to accept the 10 and 11 digit variations of the DID
