Once you have determined you have SIP and not SCCP loaded on the phone (see our article for determing this) you can proceed to program it.

 

Unlock the configuration Press setting Key.

Scroll down key until option #9 (unlock Config) then press select and enter password (cisco)

Scroll to to option #4 (SIP Configuration) then press select.

Scroll to option #7 Messages URI (Edit, enter Extension number)

Scroll to option #10 Register with proxy (yes)

Scroll to option #22 Outbound Proxy (enter SIP Address)

Scroll to option #24 Nat Enabled (yes)

 

Press Back Solfkey then scroll to SIP configuration

 

• 1 Select Line 1 (enter extension number or name)

• 2 Shortname (enter extension) the then press Accpt)

• 3 Auth Username (enter extension) the then press Accpt

• 4 Authentication pwr (enter SIP Password ) the then press Accpt

• 5 Display Name (extension number or user name) the then press Accpt • 6 Proxy Address ( enter sip address) the then press Accpt

• 7 Proxy Port (5060)

Press back (solf key) to go to the line number 2

To register 2nd line number enter extension number on option #1 name ( press edit then enter extension).

DO the same for lines 3 – 6.

Time and date Go to option #7 (Localization) Scroll down to option # 3 (Change Time zone)

Scroll down to SNTP (129.6.15.28)
